Stamford, CT

Here are a few photos from the Brian R. Bill Memorial Golf Tournament last week in Stamford, Connecticut. Brian was one of Adam’s DEVGRU SEAL teammates whom I interviewed a year ago. Five weeks after our interview, Brian was killed on August 6, 2011, along with sixteen of his teammates in the tragic Chinook crash in Wardak Province, Afghanistan. I was honored to speak at this event per the request of Brian’s mother, Pat. The event raised money for Brian’s memorial scholarship fund at his Alma Mater: Norwich University.  All proceeds from books sold at the event benefited this scholarship.

    Eric,

Your an amazing young man. I am reading your novel, The Only Thing Worth Dieing For and it is a funny and sensitive read. But, the story of Adam Brown if haunting. I waited weeks for the chance to get it from our library, and once read I didn’t want to part with it. I renewed the book to read a second time. Upon returning it to the library I felt a loss, somehow Adam Brown was being watched over while I was in possession of it. It is amazing how you young men effect me, the Mother, Grandmother and the writer too. I had to own Fearless, so I purchased it and this is due to the very human character you brought to life in Fearless. I thank you for writing Adams story.
