Gilbert Magallanes, aka, Mag, survived a traumatic brain injury while fighting the war in Afghanistan, and has come back from about the deepest darkest hole I can imagine to be able to compete in triathlons, AND, despite nearly dying in combat, he still has a great sense of humor.
