Happy December! It’s all speeding up as we approach the release date for The Only Thing Worth Dying For. Author, CNN correspondent and terrorism analyst, Peter Bergen (the last journalist to interview Osama Bin Laden face-to-face) read the book and has invited me, along with one of the soldiers from ODA 574, to speak at the New America Foundation in Washington, D.C., on January 19, 2010. This will kick off the book’s public debut, with a signing at Borders in D.C. later that evening, then another talk hosted by the Veterans Club at George Washington University. It will be a very full day, and an honor to address these crowds of academics and free thinkers in our nation’s capital.
