Countdown to LEGEND: This is Bill (center), the Aircraft Commander of Greyhound 4. He, as well as his Huey “Slick” were shot multiple times during the first extraction attempt on the May 2, 1968 rescue mission and is one of the unsung heroes of the 240th Assault Helicopter Co. whose story is told in LEGEND.
